Clinical hypnotherapy is the utilization of an altered state of consciousness (trance state) for therapeutic purpose. It is about taking back charge or control that has been lost and resulting in the manifestation of the symptoms.
Through the utilization of hypnotic trance, Jessy Sidhu works upon focusing on emphasizing comprehensive solutions in achieving lasting positive change, interactively working with the whole person, eradicating underlying causes leading to unwanted attitudes, behaviours and emotions while teaching to tap into the healing capabilities and wisdom of the subconscious that holds the key to all our problems, helping achieve optimal mental, emotional, physical and spiritual well-being.
Being a trauma survivor herself, she understands mental, emotional and physical distress due to Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and the debilitating impact on one through chronic negative emotions, flawed perceptions, negative beliefs, flashbacks, nightmares and rumination resulting in physical “disease.” Treating this “disease” with physical modalities removes symptoms but rarely a cure. Accessing to the origin, one’s emotions and thoughts, will transform the individual, hence aiding in true healing as it did for her. The most effective manner in ridding a problem is by bringing it out from the subconscious roots, by entering into a hypnotic state, bypassing the conscious mind. Understanding the reason behind the root cause of the problem, helps release it and replace it with an appropriate substitute with re-enforcement.
An example of this mind set is in yo-yo dieting. Utilizing various weight reduction programs with the conscious mind, might get one to lose weight but without tackling the root problem instilled in the sub-conscious, the weight will be gained back. True healing occurs at the sub-conscious level and can be accessed through clinical hypnotherapy.
